Considering the tremendous need of a safe and secure place for trafficking
survivors , KIN has been running a SAFE HOME. Safe home accepts the
survivors as KIN daughters and provides the service with an integrated package
of psycho-social counseling, career counseling and planning, medical care,
legal assistance and empowerment sessions. It varies upon the seriousness of
the cases however; we hope the girls might start get recovery from her arrival
of 6-8 weeks. Along with counseling sessions, we provide all our packages
within this period. Then, we set some follow up counseling sessions and refer
her further as per the career plan she sets herself.
Before graduation from the safe home, the team follows some
steps such as family tracing, social assessment, re connection and eventually
reintegration. We not only provide them the shelter but also nurture them for their leadership development.
One of the main focuses of the organization has also been to
provide the girls with the opportunity to go to school to achieve further
education that can be a bridging package to the girls of school going age to
make them join school again or to learn different income generating skills that
could be a beneficial factor in molding them to be a self-dependent and strong
individual. 567 girls and women received emergency shelter service & 100 girls and women have got safe home service in 2019.
